The venue wasn't sold out at all. You didn't have to come early to set up in front row(s).
Sulpher really kicked asses that night, although the crowd was very quiet
(the front man repeated to complain that fact during the gig).
And eventually he smashed his guitar and mic - in nearly Cobain-style.
The hall then filled up a bit more for the Sisters.
Whammy stormed in, gave a sign to the Nurse and Temple immediately
started. Von (and Chris) showed up and began to sing - with half of the Sulpher's volume. The guitar volume was pumped up a bit, but throughout the concert it was
not loud enough, in my opinion.
It was a straight Sisters performance.
Highlights were Crash And Burn, Ribbons, Alice, Dominion/Mother Russia
(from that song onwards there was much dancing), Anaconda (rocked), First and Last and Always (much singing in
the crowd),
Romeo Down (Whammy is just cool as ice), I Was Wrong (acoustic), Top Nite
Out, which was much more powerful than in 2001... GREAT PERFORMANCE!
Von forgot the first verse of Alice (or was not in the mood to sing it),
and later on he
kicked some (green) light beamers 'til they broke. Maybe the green wasn't
green enough.
The light show was good, but not as stunning as in 2001.
The new song 'Slept' didn't work for me, but times will come.
He really did sing/say 'slept with all the girls in Berlin'!
After all I was very pleased with the gig. Not much German talking by Von - maybe it slipped out of mind, through
the years. But he's got still a nearly bald head.
Good show with smoke, but no mirrors were seen.

Same setlist as in Frankfurt, very boring audience, no problem at all getting
into the front row after Sulpher's noise massacre. Some light equipment didn't work, so Eldritch gave them a good kick, didn't work at all after that ;)
The
nights best songs? I Was Wrong and Lucretia.
