Welcome. This webzine is dedicated to concerts of the British band The Sisters
of Mercy which were played at what seems to be the end of their career.
For what it's worth, some of these shows were good enough to inspire
people to travel half the world on their own money just to see them, and they
mostly lived up to self-declared "industrial groove machine"
slogan.
But the ban on album releases caught up with the band
- though the groove remained where it was, but momentum died out for both the harcore
fans, who got tired of hearing the same things year after year, and for those
expecting (and failing) to hear the classics in their classic form.
Even so, some people are already gearing up for more half-world trips for the next tour
which is look to be set for Europe in 2007.
This webzine chronicles it all. For what it's worth. |
